The
European Journal of General Practice
This Journal is the official journal
of Wonca Europe.
The aims and goals of EJGP are:
- to provide a forum for exchange of knowledge and information between
member organisations for GP/FM
- to initiate initiatives to foster GP/FM as a scientific discipline
- to encourage and support the development of academic organisations
of GP/FM in Europe
- to represent the other European organisations in the academic
aspects of GP/FM and in forums concerned with health and medical
care.
EJGP is the main instrument for the
Wonca Europe in fulfilling these task.
The Journal is a peer reviewed
scientific journal, which is expected to be indexed.
The journal has several sections:
- a scientific section, which presents peer reviewed papers from
general practice and primary care
- a section for reviews, background papers and editorial commentaries
- a section for communication with reports from the Society, the three
network organisations and other major organisations within general
practice and family medicine in Europe. This section is also open
for letters from the subscribers.
