Dr Cheryl Chan is a family medicine specialist and dedicated clinical educator in Hong Kong . After completing her fellowship in family medicine from HKCFP and FRACGP, she earned a Master's degree in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. Dr. Chan currently serves as an Honorary Clinical assistant professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Chan is a strong advocate for young doctor  , she has  been leading the Young Doctors' Movements in WONCA for 2 years .

Dr Chan’s mission is to increase presence of young doctors and create a pipeline for future family medicine leaders . Last year, Dr Chan has initiated the cyber X FM project and the Prof Donald Li YDM global scholarship to support young doctors from LMICs . 

If elected as a member at large in WONCA, Dr Chan hope to further strengthen the relationship between WONCA , WHO and the UN , increase presence of WONCA internationally, as well as increase support from WONCA to our young doctors.
