Building on the success of previous PCDE conferences, PCDE 2026 will once again bring together an international audience of healthcare professionals committed to improving the prevention, diagnosis and management of diabetes and cardio-renal-metabolic diseases in primary care. The scientific program of PCDE 2026 is developed by primary care professionals for primary care professionals, ensuring that the content is directly relevant to daily clinical practice. The theme of the 18th PCDE conference is "Innovating as the Crossroads: Diabetes, Obesity and Chronic Disease in a digital era". The program will address current challenges and emerging developments in diabetes care and obesity, with a strong focus on real-world implementation, multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered approaches. The Paul Cromme lecture and the Rising Star award lecture will be enriching highlights of the scientific program alongside the revered Poster Walk sessions.
