WHO/IARC Webinar - Marketing bans – the role of advertising in alcohol consumption

This Wednesday, we will hold the fourth webinar in the WHO/Europe and International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) series on alcohol and cancer. The session will focus on how alcohol marketing influences consumption patterns, particularly among young people, and on the effectiveness of policies that restrict or ban marketing in reducing consumption. Event details here.

 

We would also like to note that two EVID-ACTION Youth Network members, Saloni Mitra and Christos Tsagkaris, will take part directly in the webinar by contributing their own experiences on this important topic.
