WONCA EUROPE FAMILY DOCTORS NCD FELLOWSHIPS

WONCA is pleased to announce the launch of the WONCA Young Family Doctors Noncommunicable Diseases Fellowship.

Noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory conditions and other long-term illnesses are a growing challenge for communities worldwide. Family doctors are central to prevention, early diagnosis, long-term care and person-centred support. This new Fellowship will support early-career family doctors to strengthen that work in their own settings.

Seven fellows will be selected, one from each WONCA region, for a 10-month programme combining online learning, mentorship, leadership development and the design and implementation of a locally relevant project in primary care. Fellows will also receive support to attend a WONCA regional or global conference and present their work.

This is an opportunity for young family doctors to develop practical leadership, contribute to their communities and connect with peers across regions.

AstraZeneca supports this Fellowship via an independent grant. WONCA retains full responsibility for the programme design, content, and implementation.

EAACI TASK FORCE SURVEY ON DRUG ALLERGY IN PRIMARY CARE

Drug allergies remain a complex and sometimes challenging area in everyday primary care practice - particularly for general practitioners, family doctors, and those in training.

The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), with the valuable support of the European Young Family Doctor Movement (EYFDM), invites you to take part in a short European survey developed by the EAACI Task Force – Drug Allergy in Primary Care Settings Across Europe.

The aim of this survey is to better understand real-world clinical practice, identify common challenges, and explore educational needs related to drug allergy management in primary care across Europe.

Your perspective is especially valuable, whether you are an experienced clinician or currently in training.

Why participate?

Your anonymous input will help:

• Identify gaps and challenges in drug allergy diagnosis and management

• Address common misconceptions and clinical uncertainties

• Shape future educational resources tailored to primary care

• Support the development of targeted initiatives, including a potential EAACI Allergy School for Primary Care

In addition, participants will receive EAACI-curated educational material on drug allergy management upon completion of the survey.

The survey takes approximately 5-7 minutes to complete, and all responses are fully anonymous.

By sharing your experience, you contribute directly to improving clinical practice and strengthening collaboration between primary care and allergy specialists across Europe.
