STATEMENT ON THE CURRENT CONFLICT IN PALESTINE

With several wars affecting our region at the moment, EYFDM echoes the WONCA statement on health professionals working in areas of conflict. THE EYFDM PODCAST!

We are thrilled to share the launch of our new EYFDM podcast, which we introduced at the recent congress in Vienna. Led by Fabian Dupont, the podcast features engaging interviews with remarkable general practitioners who have fascinating and extraordinary careers. From rural health care to exciting training opportunities, to the presidencies of EYFDM and WONCA, it's all there. If you haven't listened yet, this is your chance to get a life-changing insight into Family Medicine Training in Europe and beyond!

The podcast is now available on Spotify, and we have released eight episodes so far - including the latest, an interview with our very own Rogier Steins. You can listen to them here: EYFDM Podcast on Spotify. Don't forget to subscribe so you never miss an episode!

In conjunction with the podcast, we have also published a questionnaire designed to gather valuable feedback from our listeners. The questionnaire only takes about 5 minutes to complete. Your participation would be immensely helpful for our study and future improvements of the podcast. You can access the questionnaire here: EYFDM Podcast Questionnaire.

We kindly request that you take a few moments to listen to some episodes and then fill out the questionnaire. Your input is invaluable to us.

Thank you for your support and for helping us spread the word about the EYFDM podcast. If possible, please go ahead and share it with your members & newsletter recipients.

EYFDM DIGITAL HEALTH & AI SIG SURVEY

Dear Colleagues,
The founding members of the EYFDM Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Special Interest Group (SIG) are pleased to invite you to participate in a research study titled "Evaluating Artificial Intelligence Readiness Among Young Family Doctors In Europe".

This research, approved by the Marmara University Ethics Committee, aims to assess the preparedness of young family doctors working in Europe to utilize artificial intelligence in healthcare and identify the factors influencing this readiness.

Your voluntary participation in this study would involve completing a brief questionnaire, which should take approximately 5 minutes. The questionnaire will gather demographic information and explore your perceptions and experiences with AI in healthcare.

Your contribution to this research is invaluable and will help shape the future of healthcare practice. We eagerly await your participation. And we would be grateful if you could share this link with your colleagues in your country.

We are also pleased to announce that those who participate in this study will have the opportunity to receive a registration voucher for the webinar we will be holding on the use of AI in healthcare.

Please find the link to the survey here.

Sincerely,

EYFDM Digital Health and AI SIG Founding Members

MEDICAL LEADERSHIP SIG OF EYFDM SURVEY

Dear Colleagues,

Doctors in family medicine are often seen as leaders within healthcare organizations, educational establishments, staff teams, and patient encounters, as well as within wider healthcare policy and research.
Medical Leadership EYFDM Special Interest Group focuse on empowering and upskilling young family doctors to take on leadership roles and their perspectives on how to improve their leaderships.

We are conducting a short 13-question online survey to identify the barriers that tomorrow's leaders face today in transitioning into leadership roles.

Aims of the survey;
1. Defining the most common barriers and struggles of early career family doctors to taking on leadership roles.
2. By the help of the answers, try to develop solutions about defined barriers.
3. Building knowledge and develop skills in leadership amongst members of EYFDM. This survey is focused on European Region.

HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO ANSWER WHAT IS STOPPING YOU TO BECOME LEADER?
