IPCRG has a new look for our 25th anniversary year! In January, we released our new logo, designed to emphasised connected care, collaboration and integration. Since then, we have also released a new design for our Desktop Helpers. Now, we are ready to share our redesigned website - a simple and modern showcase of the resources and initiatives we have developed together over the past 25 years. Please visit www.ipcrg.org to take a look.
CLIMATE ACTION
Improving “one health”: important information for prescribers and dispensers of pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs) for asthma and COPD
Many people in our network will be aware that changes are coming to the propellants used in pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs) for asthma and COPD. Following a consultation with our global network, we have prepared a collection of iQ&A questions and answers to prepare primary care for questions from patients and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. These can be used by IPCRG member countries and partner organisations in their own communication programmes as the new pMDIs become available, ensuring consistency of messaging globally.
The information is presented in an “accordion” format to enable readers to select their question and level of detail in the answer. The information will be updated based on feedback, and information and answers will be presented in multiple engaging formats with infographics illustrating the key takeaways. Our framing is "one health" - for the planet, people and animals.
CONFERENCE
Tunis 2026: submit your late-breaking abstracts by 19 April
Thank you to those of you who submitted abstracts for the 13th IPCRG World Conference - we have received a higher-than-anticipated number of abstracts surpassing our 2024 conference in Athens and we are in the process of informing authors of their programme allocation. For those whose data is not available yet, we are accepting late-breaking abstracts until 19 April. This is only for papers with new data and there are only 10 slots available, so we encourage you to submit as early as you can.
We have two Tunisian primary care centres that are willing to receive group visits from delegates who are interested in visiting during their stay. If you are arriving early and wish to visit one of these centres, then contact us to arrange this in advance. If you are travelling solo, we will try to connect you with others.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Tunis - a discounted early registration rate is available until 3 May! We very much encourage you to book your travel well in advance to secure your preferred connections and affordable costs for travel and accommodation.
