Spotlight: keynote session & IPCRG 25th anniversary

The keynote is Real life research – where are we now, how has it affected policy and practice, and where do we go from here? To celebrate IPCRG's 25th anniversary, Prof David Price,  one of our founders, will reflect on our original research aims, what we've achieved & learnt, and what comes next. Dr Sarah Rylance, Lead for Chronic Respiratory Diseases in the WHO NCD Management Unit, will reflect on the answers policy makers & clinical leaders need in order to improve respiratory outcomes, particularly in low resource settings, and where knowledge gaps remain.

Message from conference chair: Saharan dust storms

In the build-up to Tunis 2026, conference co-chair Habib Ghedira will share regular messages highlighting topics of interest and challenges in the region. Last month, to mark the opening of registration and abstract submission, Habib welcomed prospective delegates to Tunis and explained what the city and country has to offer for those considering extending their visit past the conference. This month, Habib shares an important message on Saharan dust storms and the effect they have on respiratory health in North Africa. Click here to read the full message.
