It is now just over a month before we open the call for abstracts for our 8th Scientific Meeting in Braşov, Romania from 10-12 April 2025. The call for abstracts is earlier this year, to allow extra time for those who need permissions to travel. For the first time, we are accepting abstracts for Creative Enquiry Presentations, and we also encourage abstracts on clean air and air pollution, tobacco use and vaping prevention and cessation, planetary health, health equity, adolescent health and the use of social media for health information. Please check with us before you book travel - committee meetings, a FRESHAIR4Life annual meeting, a Spirometry Simplified masterclass and a Research School are all expected to take place in Brasov before and/or after the Scientific Meeting dates and may affect your travel plans.

Tunis 2026: save the date!
We are delighted to announce that the 13th IPCRG World Conference and 1st North African Interdisciplinary Respiratory Forum will take place in Tunis, Tunisia from 11-14 June 2026. More detail will be announced in due course - for now, keep the dates free! Fun fact: our IPCRG Tunis mascot is a fennec, a small desert fox with, importantly, very large ears. Its ears signify our readiness to listen to the multidisciplinary voices we hope will attend.
