Prof. Shlomo Vinker, WE President, and Prof. Zalika Klemenc-Ketiš, WE Honorary Treasurer, attended the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, held on 29th–31th October 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dr. Hans Kluge was re-elected as the Regional Director, and other members of the WHO governing body were elected.

During the conference, Prof. Vinker and Prof. Klemenc had several professional meetings. They met with Prof. Rocco Barazzoni, immediate past European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) chairperson, and Kremlin Wickramasinghe, WHO Europe, Special Initiative on Non communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Innovation. Future cooperation on Nutrition in Family Medicine and the WHO Europe Brief project on NCDs were discussed.
