Prof. Shlomo Vinker, President of WONCA Europe, participated in the COST Action ENABLE closing event as an honorary guest of Job van Boven, the project leader, and Ioanna Tsiligianni from Greece, the Vice-Chair of this project.
The meeting occurred on August 30, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium.
The project aimed to implement digital technologies to enhance medication adherence and outcomes in chronic diseases across Europe. The event brought together 70 high-level representatives from 40 countries and key European organizations. Prof. Vinker participated in a panel discussion on the current landscape of medication adherence practices, where he presented the perspective of family medicine.
