Network and allied organizations

ELMC - European Lifestyle Medicine Council

The ELMC promotes Community, Education and Research in the field of Lifestyle Medicine by providing support and a networking platform for existing national Lifestyle Medicine organizations. It does this by:

  • Supporting development of national Lifestyle Medicine organizations.
  • Collecting and sharing research.
  • Providing online educational forums on lifestyle medicine-related matters.
  • Publishing regular e-newsletters for exchange of ideas and information.
  • Providing educational and networking opportunities.

The ELMC also promotes public awareness of Lifestyle Medicine and provides education to the general public by:

  • Disseminating relevant scientific and educational information in easily understandable language in order to enable people to make informed lifestyle choices, as well as facilitating educational meetings and gatherings.
  • Promoting the adoption of healthy lifestyles by all sections of theEuropean population for their general wellbeing and prevention of illness.
