IPCRG 10th World Conference

IPCRG World Conference, 6-8 May 2021

The 10th IPCRG World Conference planned to be held at Croke Park, Dublin in May 2020 has been rescheduled to 6 - 8 May 2021. Please put this date in your diary. At IPCRG we continue to closely monitor the situation with COVID-19 in Ireland to assess what face to face options are available to us. We will be delivering the highly educational sessions, interactive discussions and global networking that IPCRG conferences are renowned for, though most of the conference is likely to be delivered virtually. Our revised programme covers best practice in the primary care management of chronic respiratory diseases and topical updates on COVID-19 such as testing, managing routine care remotely and differential diagnosis of breathlessness. Our programme is aimed at ALL members of the multi-disciplinary team working in all primary care settings in low, middle- and high-income countries.

See www.ipcrg2021.org Registration and full programme details for the conference will open early in 2021.

In the meantime, the Call for Abstracts has been launched allowing you to submit your recent work. All successful abstract authors may create an ePoster that will remain on the IPCRG ePoster Showcase until the 11th IPCRG World Conference in 2022. The creation of an ePoster steps away from the old paper poster model and takes full advantage of the move to a digital format with much greater reach that either an oral presentation or a conventional poster. Each author can create an ePoster with many different rich resources such as videos, images, audio, apps, presentations, twitter and links to interactive online resources. The ePoster Showcase also provides several additional ways in which viewers can interact with the ePoster itself, with other viewers and with the ePoster author so in true IPCRG fashion, they create meaningful interactions by connecting our people and helping share ideas.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 2359hrs GMT on 25 January 2021.
