The WONCA Europe Executive Board met online on Monday, 4 September 2023 for a regular monthly meeting.
President Shlomo Vinker reported on his activities, including participation in EU projects, discussions about the European Journal of General Practice, meetings with stakeholders, and preparations for future events.
The 2024 scholarship call will be announced in due time, the EB decided to give two scholarships in 2024.
Current and future collaboration efforts include participation in the Sixdegrees project about NCD in Europe and the preparations for the WHO Regional Meeting for Europe in Astana, Kazakhstan.
There will be an online introduction of candidates to the position of WONCA World president-elect and member-at-large candidates (WE Talk).
Various other matters were discussed, including IT platform usage and future newsletters.
