It is a sad and sorrow moment in General Practice and all of us in the Vasco da Gama Movement.
Our dear friend David Lewis has passed away. He has been such a generous, inspiring and gentle soul and he has supported VdGM in many ways, being himself an enthusiastic youngster.
In the WONCA World Conference in Prague, David supported the activities of our Movement even though it was the first he was meeting us in person. He kept saying: "I want to help you because I remember how it is to be young and in search for mentoring". And in fact, he had become an advocate and mentor for us for the use of Social Media in Family Medicine.
Our thoughts and love go to his family and close friends in this difficult moment.
David, or as many friends of yours would call you, @DrPlumEU, may your kind soul rest in peace.
