On May 25th, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) convened a meeting with representative organisations of general practitioners and family physicians, notably including WONCA Europe. The primary objective of the meeting was to gain insight into the requirements of family physicians regarding medication and regulatory matters. Throughout the session, various topics were extensively deliberated, fostering a productive and collaborative environment. As a result, it was mutually agreed that this forum would convene virtually a minimum of two times annually. Furthermore, the EMA expressed its intention to engage with us in forthcoming projects and consultations where our perspectives hold relevance.
