IPCRG welcomes Amanda Barnard as new president & committee updates
Our biennial conference marks the end of one presidency and the beginning of the next, and at IPCRG’s 2024 Annual General Meeting our Senate was excited to welcome Amanda Barnard as IPCRG’s new President. We also thanked Ee Ming Khoo for her tenure in the role, welcomed Mexico as a new country member alongside four new associate members, and welcomed some new faces to our committees. We are delighted to announce that our 8th Scientific Meeting will take place in Brașov, Romania from 11-12 April 2025 in conjunction with our Romanian group RespiRO and the Transylvania University of Brașov. We hope again to see many researchers, especially those early in their careers, at this meeting. Details, including dates for abstract submissions and registration, will be published shortly. We are also planning another in our series of Research Schools, and the topics will be decided following a survey on the subjects our members wish to see. We ask you to hold 10 April too, as this is likely to be the date of side meetings.
