WONCA Europe Newsletter February 2021 Edition

WONCA Europe Newsletter February 2021

Dear WONCA colleagues,

We are living and working now for more than a year under the COVID pandemic. It brought many changes in our personal and professional life. We are working more from home and for extended hours, we are more available to our patients in other ways and not only in the traditional face to face visits. I presume that most of us took fewer vacation days and traveled much less to distant places or abroad. We moved to virtual conferences, webinars, and podcasts as the main source of continuing medical education. We presume that COVID and its consequences will stay with us for the coming months and maybe a little bit more. So it is time to stop being reactive and start being active rethinking and replanning our personal and professional lives in the COVID era.

Yours,
On behalf of WONCA Europe Executive Board
And on behalf of the editors
Shlomo Vinker, President-Elect of WONCA Europe

Presidents' Letter - History of FM/GP in Europe and WONCA Europe

I know that we need our history especially when teaching residents. Moreover in order to have a future you need to know where you are coming from.
