In this edition, we are pleased to announce that WONCA Europe position paper on the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in primary care has been published.

President’s Corner
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to introduce three distinguished member organizations that joined WONCA Europe in the last few weeks. The Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Romania has joined as an academic member. Additionally, two national member organizations, the PTMR (Polish Society of Family Medicine) from Poland and the Society of General Practitioners of Slovakia from Slovakia, have joined as associate member organizations.
We are still missing members from countries such as Albania, Cyprus, Montenegro, and others in WONCA Europe. We encourage you to recommend and recruit organizations from these countries to join the WONCA Europe family.
This month, we celebrated the “World Day of Family Doctors” under the theme “Healthy Planet, Healthy People". This year, we focused on the urgent need for action against climate change and its impacts on human health. Each member organization adapted the theme and its activities to address local and national issues, highlighting the diversity of our profession and our members.
Looking forward to meeting you all in September at our annual conference in Dublin.
