President’s Corner
Dear colleagues,
As we stand on the cusp of Spring, with holidays and vacations beckoning, it is an opportune moment to recharge ourselves for the forthcoming endeavours. In the upcoming months, many of our networks will convene for conferences and meetings, pivotal occasions that promise enriching experiences. Detailed information regarding these events can be found on our website and in this newsletter.
We take immense pride in sharing two notable academic achievements from WONCA Europe: the publication of two scientific works crafted by the preceding and current Executive Boards. One publication delves into associations between systemic diseases and periodontal diseases. At the same time, the other presents a position paper elucidating the role of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in family medicine, echoing a statement approved in the Brussels council.
We eagerly anticipate engaging with each of you, seeking your feedback and proposals to bolster WONCA Europe's activity and visibility.
Warm regards,
Prof Shlomo Vinker
WONCA Europe President
