We are pleased to share the November edition of our newsletter with you.
You may find out about our recent events, including the meetings our EURACT and EGPRN networks held recently. Included also is the “WONCA Europe position statement on the redefinition of fatty liver disease”. Furthermore, you may learn more about WONCA Europe Executive Board activities through our last in-person meeting summary in Brussels, where we also met with WONCA Europe Conference 2022 Committees
We are very happy to announce that fellow WONCA Europe executive Radost Asenova has been awarded "Doctor of the Year 2022" by the Bulgarian Regional Medical Association, in the category of "Overall Contribution to the Development of General Practice/Family Medicine."
This edition features two articles on Ukraine: the first is about the latest news from INTERFAMILY Clinic Uzhhorod, and the second is about a visit to Ukraine by former EURACT president Jo Buchanan.
On November 30th we will resume our regular webinars, starting with “Vaccination in adults: challenge across European countries”. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have at the end of each webinar in our Q&A sessions. Please register through our website so that you can attend our webinars and have your say.
Our 28th WONCA Europe conference will be held in Brussels, Belgium, from June 7th to 10th 2023. Our theme will be “Making Choices in Primary Care”, and we invite you to consider attending and contributing. The abstract submission deadline is January 10th 2023.
