In preparation for the meeting, please find attached the agenda and supporting documents.

We would like to draw your attention to item number 19 – Wonca Europe Executive Board Election.
In accordance with the Wonca Europe Bylaws, the following elections will take place:

  • President

Job Metsemakers will stand for election as President

  • Vice-President

Anna Stavdal will stand for re-election as Vice-President

  • Honorary Secretary

Janko Kersnik will stand for election as Hon. Secretary

  • Honorary Treasurer

Carl Steylaerts will stand for re-election as Hon. Treasurer

  • Representative from European General Practice Research Network

Mehmet Ungan nominated

  • Representative from European Academy of Teachers in General Practice

Roar Maagaard nominated

  • Representative from European Association for Quality in General Practice/Family Medicine

Andree Rochfort nominated?

  • New elections to the Statutory Committees of Wonca Europe will also take place (call for nominations attached):

We have candidates for a majority of the actual positions. However, nominations for all positions are welcome. We are in special need for nominations to the Finance Committee and the Bylaws Committee.

We kindly ask for your nominations as soon as possible, at the latest by June 15th.

It is possible to nominate persons from the floor at the Council Meeting in Prague.

All nominations, however made, must be certified in writing by a Member Organization indicating that the nominee is a recognized member of that Member Organization, has its support and endorsement, and agrees to accept nomination.
